Blade Runner is coming back!
After years of speculation, it is finally happening now and after much of enduring lackluster mainstream Sci-Fi Films (Passengers, Chappie, and Jupiter Ascending), it’s great that the legendary adventure returns. I remember the only thing we got close to a sequel was the ill-recieved yet cult status film called “Soldier” featuring Kurt Russell and Jason Scott Lee which took place in the outer territory that Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) spoke about at the end before expiring in front of Rick Deckhard (Harrison Ford). I wonder if all questions from the first one are to be addressed in this one but then again I hope it opens all sorts of new questions on its own.
Anyways this teaser alone spells “win” with the environment, the neon noir tones, and the new Blade Runner (Ryan Gosling) meeting up with the old Blade Runner (Harrison Ford) at Gunpoint. Things are about to get real and I’m sold on the premise but how about all of you out there?

“Welcome Home Spidey!”
Outside of the huge amount of excitement I have, Spidey’s back where he needs to be, and it’s good to see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) again after what happened in Civil War. The quips, the mannerisms, and everything that Tom Holland is putting into his performance is on point. 2017 is going to be a great year for Marvel (and Disney in general with Thor 3, Guardians 2, and all). I love the atmosphere of the film, Vulture’s design, and it’s always a pleasure to see Michael Keaton. No sign of the Shocker yet but that’s ok since this is the first trailer for what’s to come.
Save the date for July 7, people we’re going to an event.

Intense wasn’t it? All bets are off this time.
“We’re not screwing around.” said Michael Bay and Paramount Execs.
(I’m kidding although I wouldn’t put it pass them if they did actually say this.)
The Transformers are back J360 Legion, and since the ending of the last one, Earth still looks like Hell. We’re knee deep in the Robot War, relations are sour, and is that Anthony Hopkins doing the voiceover? I thought he retired from acting after Thor 3 and wait…Optimus is fighting Bumblebee? Has everything changed as we know it?!
Yeah, but that’s the selling point of this film right, and it is the fifth installment of Paramount’s “successful” film franchise. I won’t say shared universe yet though they may try to do some GI-Joe/Transformers crossovers in the future, depending on the money. I will be optimistic and go see this film not only cause of what happened in this trailer but because Unicron is coming, and I’m hoping for a clean-up after Transformers 4. This is also to be Michael Bay’s last ride directing the Transformers Films but as we all know this can change after the cashflow comes in so I have doubts on that one.
Personally the hype for this film would be more exciting if we didn’t know that they were going to make Transformer spinoffs and sequels after this movie (Bumblebee is going solo in a 2018 film with T6 coming in 2019). Anyways I’ll be coming to check the film out when it’s released next June. I’m still pulling for a Ninja Turtles 3, and if you don’t believe me, feel free to check out my Editorial on that subject here. While I love the Transformers always and forever, I just don’t want it to become a stale cashcow like the X-Men at 20th Century Fox.
Outside of the usual Transformers complaints what do you think about this teaser? Are you Sold or no? Feel free to leave a comment below or talk with us on twitter: @j360productions about it.
In case The Mummy isn’t your thing, and Spider-man Homecoming’s trailer hasn’t landed yet.
Bring on the Guardians! The 2nd Teaser trailer is here to tie you over for now.
In Filmmaking, the upside is the excitement for your film’s process, but the downside can be the time in that process especially for the movie’s premiere. It’s been too long of a wait for some of these marvel movies to come out but the anticipation is still fresh. Vol.2 seems to have that same punch and instant classic feel like the first installment. The team dynamic is strong and well especially how they all react to each other in the trailer. Not too mention seeing fan favorite Baby Groot in action. No sign of Ego the Living Planet yet but that’s fine, he’ll probably show up in the official full-length trailer.
I don’t need to say anymore but check out this 2nd trailer to see what’s next for Star-Lord and company.

It has finally landed, come take a look at the Official Trailer for the Mummy coming next year. I still have optimism around this film perhaps Universal knows what they’re doing with this entry in their monsters-verse. I can’t wait to see more of the mayhem this Evil Princess will unleash. Now it does tend to have more action adventure than horror in this trailer but maybe the true film will mix horror elements of the old ones, and the thrill ride aspects of the 90s ones.
Anyways I’m going to see what it’s all about next year but what do you all think?
