J360 Jams#28: Second Season Gateway

Picking up after the sabbatical and Jammaversary, it’s time for the second wave of J360 Jams to begin, and this playlist is bringing one hell of an opener.

One season isn’t enough and we’re coming but with an excellent show filled with a unique mix of great grooves, light and dark Synthwave and more this one is bound to present some awesomeness to the J360 Jams Legacy. Dare we mention that J-Man himself is back in full effect leading the brigade?

Please show your support behind the artists who made this excellent music you’re hearing tonight.

Song Of The Night: 06/07/21 Triple Play (Jammaversary Mode)!

Hello J360 Legion

Happy Jammaversary!!

I’ve returned with another Song Of The Night feature this time showcasing not one but three songs. I was on a temporary leave last weekend covering another sporting event and couldn’t fulfill the feature at the time.

Tonight I’m tying up all of the loose ends and presenting three wonderful tracks from incredible ladies in the Jam Fam.

Each song is a wonderful presentation and if you like who you’re hearing tonight, please check out their links in the list and show your support.

Our first track of the evening is called “Decay” by ZXSP.

Excellent start right? Coming up next is “Haze” by Thread Mill.

Our final song of the night is called “Keep Running” by Star Madman.

Three amazing styles, three incredible songs and three outstanding musicians (4 including P.L. in Thread Mill), I do say it’s been an honor to meet all of these individuals and showcase their music on J360 Jams. I look forward to seeing how their music grows in the future to come.

Jam Fam Forever!

Album Spotlight#3: Valkyrie by Maestro Eternal

If there’s one thing I enjoy about the music I find, it’s how they take me on an adventure. Usually feeling the vibes and energy that they put into every note or chord with a mixture of ballads and songs selling the essence of what makes them unique. The right album could also help inspire you to keep going when things are rough or the chips are down…Sometimes all we need is that extra drive to push ourselves especially when it just feels safe and comforting to stay neutral. However the comfort zone as we all know is a trap and it will keep you detained if you allow it.

While building J360 Jams, I managed to meet a wonderful musician whose background in music resonated so well with my passion of creating films. I found her by checking out her art via social media and listening to one of her tracks. We created a wonderful partnership as she allowed me to play her music on the J360 Jams lineup.

That artist is called Maestro Eternal, and she’s been an important part of my adventure thus far. Tonight we’ll be looking into her album “Valkyrie.” 10 Tracks and each one tells a story of someone rising against their pain and demons to become the hero they need in their lives. You can feel every emotion taking place from beginning to end and you find yourself in the same shoes as whoever the protagonist is in the story. As all creators know there are moments where you feel everything is caving in but you also have that moment where you ride through the storm and rise up to face the obstacles in your way.

Maestro Eternal doesn’t disappoint at all when she takes us on this trip. I felt an urge on one of my bad days to just hang up the production game but by listening to this album. I just knew I couldn’t walk away I had to keep going as my adventures are always going to be a test, and my journey is much different than anyone else’s. This album will inspire you to keep moving, feel the fear, understand the loss but grow and become more.

Valkyrie is one of the best albums I’ve ever experienced and I say thank you to Maestro Eternal for everything.

Album Title: Valkyrie (2020)

Artist: Maestro Eternal

Release Date: October 31, 2020

Album Synopsis (Excerpt from Maestro Eternal herself):

This album is about my own life experiences and hardships I’ve had to face. Most of the times, we don’t choose the experience or the things that happen to us. At least when it comes to painful experiences. It’s what we do after those things that matter. Those things we do after hardships are what mold us.
The overall concept of the album is based on trauma and what your own mind and body do to get away from the these things. How in the end, no one’s coming to save you but yourself. It’s about all the different choices you face in life, especially when dealing with those hardships.

Do you choose to stay the same, floating in a limbo, replaying your own history? Do you choose to wear a mask and disguise yourself? Do you let yourself be consumed by your past mistakes, past traumas? Maybe ever forget who you are? Or will you rise above it, forgive yourself and move on? Will be come your own hero?

I’ve been through all of these phases of pain, trauma, vengeance, regret. And for 10 years, I didn’t create anything at all. I stagnated and let my past take over me. There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t think about some aspect of my past. It created a monster within myself and it consumed me to where I didn’t even recognize myself in the mirror anymore. Then, after 10 years, I woke up. I killed the monster inside me and became the Valkyrie that I needed in my own life.

Song Of The Night: 07/14/18 Saturday Night Jam

Hey J360 Legion

Sorry about the blank post earlier I got swamped with some tasks but that’s why I always have a replacement handy.  We’re going to make tonight’s entry a Song of The Night feature and the J360 Playlist has provided an excellent one to hear tonight.

Tonight’s song is called “Flare” by Jasper De Ceuster

Since it is Mr. De Ceuster’s debut on this feature, let’s enjoy another song of his called “Dusk.”

Two very calming song to get through the events of the night, and a very inspirational song for those who need to hear something deep. Mr. De Ceuster also has a very detailed discography on Bandcamp as well if you’d like to hear more. Please show your support to his dream and check out his page here.

Enjoy your evening J360 Legion and we’ll be back with another entry tomorrow.
