Album Spotlight#5: I am Vengeance by Magnavolt

Another evening, another album spotlight and this particular one is a grand adventure that could only be told by a great interaction. I remember when I was developing J360 Jams#3 and I wanted to bring Dark Synthwave to the forefront. Upon listening to various artists I found this particular individual through his track called “Transmission” and another single called “Dead or Alive” which made me an instant fan. Eventually I met with the one called Magnavolt and considered him a brother every since.

From this artist’s motive and style, some people ask is he a hero or a villain?

I will answer that from his rhythms with the synth all the way to his mashups of Trap and Dubstep beats and bass, Magnavolt is a legend.

I figured that Ep#3 wouldn’t be enough of a presentation for him and luckily the J360 Monster Fest 2020 was around the corner. So I held off until Jams#8 because that would be the right debut for Magnavolt and around the same time his album “I am Vengeance” was being released.

I am Vengeance is a 15-track album that lives up to every term expressed within it.

The impact of Magnavolt’s sounds as he lands into our world gives the vibe of a otherworldly presence on a massive scale. You could tell from every composition that each song is the perfect mash up of different events taking place leading to a massive conclusion. Each track gets into your system and jolts it to a point where you’re never left unsatisfied. The music, the wave, and the vibe from this album is well worth the price tag along with being highly recommended in the J360 library. You don’t have to just be a fan of dark synth to enjoy it at all, you just need to unleash your darkest ambitions and allow yourself to experience the vibes.

I’m eager to see what else happens with the Magnavolt Legend, and fortunately we the fans won’t have to wait long as his next album: “NEXUS” will be released on December 18, 2020.

Album Spotlight#4: Sunset Sky by SpaceForce

Traveling through the internet gateways will open many experiences from seeing unique media, engaging in great conversations, and locating exciting music.

You’ll even find incredible people who never disappoint in showcasing their craft and skills.

I remember listening to this artist’s music in the early days of shaping J360 Radio, and he’s always pushing himself to the limit in any composition he makes. I knew one way or another that the world needs to hear this man’s music so I made it a mission to showcase art from him and others to the entire universe.

This artist is a force to be reckoned with and a legend in the galaxy who inspired me to locate and support other indie artists. This is all about the main man known as Spaceforce and his latest album called “Sunset Sky.”

Sunset Sky is a 14-track odyssey of greatness. A voyage that takes us from where ever we are and transports us to different times, vibes, emotions, and lands unknown. Sometimes the most important adventures we take exist within ourselves from our mind, hearts and souls. SpaceForce was able to bring about those different feelings throughout the whole album. It’s definitely an experience, you wouldn’t want to miss out on from the introduction to where he speaks to you on the intercom to where you’re traveling across the Sunset Sky into the Waves of Time and through Zero Gravity.

Each track resonates initially and after awhile you do not want it to end, I found myself taking a few round trips as I produce each J360 Production every week.

While you cannot physically travel anywhere in 2020 other than quarantine.

I recommend that you take a moment and travel with SpaceForce across the horizons and experience Sunset Sky. He is a Force to be reckoned with.

This album is the culmination of a lot of work and time exploring different musical vibes and emotions, months of work. I truly did put a lot of effort into making this album, from the endless amount of different versions of songs, the names of the songs, the order of the tracks, to all the different promotional ideas and short little snippet videos with parts of the songs. Album Spotlight#3: Valkyrie by Maestro Eternal

If there’s one thing I enjoy about the music I find, it’s how they take me on an adventure. Usually feeling the vibes and energy that they put into every note or chord with a mixture of ballads and songs selling the essence of what makes them unique. The right album could also help inspire you to keep going when things are rough or the chips are down…Sometimes all we need is that extra drive to push ourselves especially when it just feels safe and comforting to stay neutral. However the comfort zone as we all know is a trap and it will keep you detained if you allow it.

While building J360 Jams, I managed to meet a wonderful musician whose background in music resonated so well with my passion of creating films. I found her by checking out her art via social media and listening to one of her tracks. We created a wonderful partnership as she allowed me to play her music on the J360 Jams lineup.

That artist is called Maestro Eternal, and she’s been an important part of my adventure thus far. Tonight we’ll be looking into her album “Valkyrie.” 10 Tracks and each one tells a story of someone rising against their pain and demons to become the hero they need in their lives. You can feel every emotion taking place from beginning to end and you find yourself in the same shoes as whoever the protagonist is in the story. As all creators know there are moments where you feel everything is caving in but you also have that moment where you ride through the storm and rise up to face the obstacles in your way.

Maestro Eternal doesn’t disappoint at all when she takes us on this trip. I felt an urge on one of my bad days to just hang up the production game but by listening to this album. I just knew I couldn’t walk away I had to keep going as my adventures are always going to be a test, and my journey is much different than anyone else’s. This album will inspire you to keep moving, feel the fear, understand the loss but grow and become more.

Valkyrie is one of the best albums I’ve ever experienced and I say thank you to Maestro Eternal for everything.

Album Synopsis (Excerpt from Maestro Eternal herself):

This album is about my own life experiences and hardships I’ve had to face. Most of the times, we don’t choose the experience or the things that happen to us. At least when it comes to painful experiences. It’s what we do after those things that matter. Those things we do after hardships are what mold us.
The overall concept of the album is based on trauma and what your own mind and body do to get away from the these things. How in the end, no one’s coming to save you but yourself. It’s about all the different choices you face in life, especially when dealing with those hardships.

Do you choose to stay the same, floating in a limbo, replaying your own history? Do you choose to wear a mask and disguise yourself? Do you let yourself be consumed by your past mistakes, past traumas? Maybe ever forget who you are? Or will you rise above it, forgive yourself and move on? Will be come your own hero?

I’ve been through all of these phases of pain, trauma, vengeance, regret. And for 10 years, I didn’t create anything at all. I stagnated and let my past take over me. There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t think about some aspect of my past. It created a monster within myself and it consumed me to where I didn’t even recognize myself in the mirror anymore. Then, after 10 years, I woke up. I killed the monster inside me and became the Valkyrie that I needed in my own life.

Album Spotlight#2: Neon Dreams by Oceanside 85

While building J360 Productions, I’ve heard many great things across the airwaves from experimental to opera and untitled. From concept albums to wonderful EPs that tell stories beyond any that I can attempt to imagine. I don’t think of anything else because the music alone takes me on an adventure that I need. It isn’t often I find someone that can really bring that magic even as I was doing the Song Of The Day/Night feature on this website.

That is, until I heard a unique song called “Not like us” a collaboration between Driver86 and another artist who’s in the spotlight tonight. This particular album is called “Neon Dreams” and it was composed by a respected artist in the synthwave scene. Her name is Oceanside85, and she is a magnificent creator along with being one of the first performers on J360 Jams.

Like the title states, each track on this album is a dream come true from a variety of emotions and vibes. As a whole the album has a little bit of something to appeal to everyone from hope, dreams, and aspirations for the future we want to create. From beginning to end, you can just feel the adventure grow greater from each chord and note that Oceanside brings out. This album doesn’t just touch your heart, it enlightens your soul, and for those of us trying to get through whatever 2020 throws at us, we need it.

Neon Dreams is an album no one should sleep on, and I cannot wait to hear what Oceanside85 does next.

Album Spotlight#1: Holy by BloodPanic

Album Title: Holy

Artist Name: BloodPanic

Release Date: June 24, 2020

Purchase Links: https://bloodpanic.bandcamp.com/album/holy

In honor of the artists who appeared on J360 Jams. I’ve created an extension to focus on their albums called The J360 Albums Spotlight.

Tonight’s album is called “Holy” by Bloodpanic.

It’s an epic dark synth project created in addition to Bloodpanic reinventing his name and sound from his earlier album “Rage of Streets.” as Crusader. He doesn’t disappoint at all in the story he’s telling from every track to from the beginning to end. Whereas he began as Crusader, you can tell he grew into Bloodpanic as soon as the first track drops.

I even had the honor of helping him promote the album which I still hold in high regard to this day. It also gave me more incentive to produce J360 Jams in order to help out many musicians across the world.

So this album is a pretty big deal, and if you haven’t checked it out, well now you can and if you love what you hear feel free to purchase it via his bandcamp.

Whilst working on some other J360 Productions, a good friend of ours named “Syntax” released a new EP today called “The Space Tapes.”

This album is ready to launch you into a new frontier to explore and embrace a whole new dimension where anything is possible throughout 19 tracks.  I don’t know how long it took him to create this masterpiece but it is a trip that you shouldn’t miss out on as interstellar travels lead to unbelievable destinations.

If you’re up for the journey, feel free to listen/purchase his album via his Bandcamp here or click the link below.

Shout out to Syntax for creating another hit album, I hope more excellent music comes from his house of ideas as we travel through space and time.
