Transformers: The Last Knight Teaser Trailer

Intense wasn’t it? All bets are off this time.

“We’re not screwing around.” said Michael Bay and Paramount Execs.

(I’m kidding although I wouldn’t put it pass them if they did actually say this.)

The Transformers are back J360 Legion, and since the ending of the last one, Earth still looks like Hell.  We’re knee deep in the Robot War, relations are sour, and is that Anthony Hopkins doing the voiceover?  I thought he retired from acting after Thor 3 and wait…Optimus is fighting Bumblebee? Has everything changed as we know it?!

Yeah, but that’s the selling point of this film right, and it is the fifth installment of Paramount’s “successful” film franchise. I won’t say shared universe yet though they may try to do some GI-Joe/Transformers crossovers in the future, depending on the money.  I will be optimistic and go see this film not only cause of what happened in this trailer but because Unicron is coming, and I’m hoping for a clean-up after Transformers 4. This is also to be Michael Bay’s last ride directing the Transformers Films but as we all know this can change after the cashflow comes in so I have doubts on that one.

Personally the hype for this film would be more exciting if we didn’t know that they were going to make Transformer spinoffs and sequels after this movie (Bumblebee is going solo in a 2018 film with T6 coming in 2019).  Anyways I’ll be coming to check the film out when it’s released next June.  I’m still pulling for a Ninja Turtles 3, and if you don’t believe me, feel free to check out my Editorial on that subject here. While I love the Transformers always and forever, I just don’t want it to become a stale cashcow like the X-Men at 20th Century Fox.

Outside of the usual Transformers complaints what do you think about this teaser? Are you Sold or no?  Feel free to leave a comment below or talk with us on twitter: @j360productions about it.
